Dear Students,

The Department of Political Science and Public Administration focuses on state institutions at local and central levels and their decision-making processes along with policies, social relations and intellectual ground of state institutions. Furthermore, considering the increasing relations between international societies and organizations due to ongoing developments in information and communication technologies, the department deals with public organizations and the political processes of these organizations, not only at the national but also at the international level. In this respect, the department pursue to understand and explain the changes in the political, social, legal and economic fields at the local, national and international level.

Under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Mus Alparslan University, The Department of Political Science and Public Administration was established in the 2010-2011 and has gained strong academic staff with 2 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 8 Assistant Professor and 9 Research Assistant. The department consists of four departments: “Political and Social Sciences”, “Administrative Sciences”, “Legal Sciences”, “Urbanization and Environmental Issues”.

Our Department of Political Science and Public Administration aims to educate future administrators, academics and students who have the competence to determine, interpret, analyze and compare political, social, economic and legal issues. Students who graduate from the department have job opportunities in many public institutions and private sectors.

Our department runs out students and academic staff mobility with 30 universities around the world within the frame of “Education and Training mobility”, Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana Programs. Furthermore, our department of Political Science and Public Administration carries out master with thesis and non-thesis master degree programs within the Social Sciences Institute.
