Our Postgraduate Education Program
Developed by a faculty of experts in their fields who conduct high-quality research at the international level, this program focuses on training individuals with professional competencies. In this context, our program equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to work in various positions in both the public and private sectors. Our experienced faculty members equip students with the skills to research, collect, process, analyze, and interpret data related to the field, as well as to write academic texts based on this information.
The Master’s Program in Political Science and Public Administration is open to applicants holding a bachelor’s degree, regardless of their major. The program includes courses such as “Scientific Research Methods,” “Information Society and Governance,” “Political Philosophy,” “Philosophy of Law,” “Constitutions in Turkey,” “The Development of Human Rights,” “Historical Studies of Law,” “Urban Sociology,” “Environmental Policies,” “Current Issues in Bureaucracy,” “The Development of Democracy in Turkey,” “Turkey’s Political and Social Structure,” “Contemporary Political Currents and Diplomacy,” and “Diplomatic Mechanisms.” Students have the opportunity to specialize in various fields by selecting elective courses in their area of interest. After successfully completing the courses offered in our Master’s Program, students proceed to the thesis writing process. Students who fulfill the program requirements and graduate are awarded a master’s degree and may apply to doctoral programs in political science, public administration, and related fields.
The Master’s Program in International Relations is an interdisciplinary program open to applicants with a bachelor’s degree, regardless of their field of study. The program offers an academic curriculum that brings together contemporary fields of study such as political science, public administration, international relations, diplomacy, security studies, human rights, geopolitics, and artificial intelligence policies. The program includes courses such as “Research Methods,” “Turkey-Middle East Relations,” “Diplomacy,” “Space, Power, and Geopolitics,” “Security, Artificial Intelligence and Public Policy,” “The Development of Human Rights,” “Current Debates in International Relations,” “Space and Culture,” “Turkey’s Political and Social Structure,” and “Contemporary Political Currents and Diplomacy.” In addition, through elective courses that strengthen the program’s focus on international relations and global politics, students are expected to specialize in areas such as the international system, regional security, foreign policy analysis, diplomacy, artificial intelligence governance, and global public policies. Upon successfully completing the courses offered in the Master’s Program, students proceed to the thesis writing process. Students who successfully fulfill the program’s requirements and graduate earn a master’s degree and are eligible to apply to doctoral programs in international relations, political science, public administration, security studies, and related fields.
