1- To provide students with the ability to relate and interpret basic concepts such as state, government, politics and administration with the concepts of democracy, justice and citizenship.
2- To provide students with the ability to define, classify and interpret political and administrative institutions and phenomena in connection with the fields of diplomacy, law, economics, sociology and history.
3- To provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to follow current developments in political and administrative systems and practices in Turkey, to evaluate problems and to produce public policies aimed at solutions.
