A MINOR PROTOCOL WAS SIGNED BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Our faculty has taken an important step to support the academic development of our students. A "minor branch protocol" has been signed between the Department of Political Science and Public Administration and the Department of Business Administration, which undergraduate students can benefit from. This agreement aims to provide our students with a multidisciplinary academic perspective and to enable them to achieve their career goals from a broader perspective.
In his speech at the protocol signing ceremony, our Dean Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk ALTUNÇ emphasized that "this collaboration will contribute to our students' stronger presence in the business world after graduation and that the protocol aims to provide students with the necessary equipment to be successful in both the public and private sectors."
Speaking at the signing ceremony, our Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yunus KOÇ stated that "the minor branch protocol will allow students in the department to develop a deeper understanding of business and entrepreneurship processes." Head of the Department of Business Administration Assoc. Mehmet Ali Türkmenoğlu stated that “students who study business administration will increase their knowledge of Political Science and Public Administration and make a difference in public policies and management processes.”
Thanks to this signed protocol, students will gain in-depth knowledge in their own departments while gaining the perspective of a different discipline, which will provide them with a significant advantage in their careers. With the minor program, students will be able to take courses in a second discipline and receive a more comprehensive education certificate upon graduation.
Application requirements and details will be announced on the faculty’s official website in the coming days.
