SAPLING PLANTING EVENT
On 11.06.2024, we organized a meaningful event with our faculty graduates. The sapling planting event, which we organized to show our sensitivity to nature and the environment and to strengthen our ties with our graduates, was held.
The aim of our event was to both protect nature and leave a green legacy for the future. Each sapling, while keeping the memories of our graduates alive, met with the soil as a symbol that beautifies our environment. Thanks to the sapling planting, we had the opportunity to come together with our graduates and tried to create an environmental awareness that could be an example for society.
Graduates from different departments who graduated from our faculty participated in our sapling planting event. Our University Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar KARADAĞ, Prof. Dr. Kenan YILDIRIM, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk ALTUNÇ, General Secretary Harun DEMİR, Faculty academic staff, administrative staff and students also showed their support by participating in the event. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the organization of the event and all our alumni who participated.
As a faculty, we believe that this meaningful event that we held with our alumni is an important step towards the future. We believe that our sapling planting event is of great importance in terms of both contributing to nature and creating a strong bond between our alumni.
We will continue to spread environmental awareness and set an example for society by continuing such events. We will continue to work together with our faculty alumni for a greener world. Finally, a group meal was served as part of the graduation events.
